Counselling & Therapy
I see therapeutic support as a collaborative and relational process, whether it is brief & focused counselling or therapy that unfolds over a longer period of time. I believe people are the experts in their own lives. My role is to bring professional knowledge, curiosity and reflection alongside your own understanding, supporting you to make sense of your experiences and discover what feels meaningful and helpful for you.
Counselling & Therapy
People seek counselling and therapy for many different reasons. Sometimes there is a specific issue they would like support with, while at other times there is a broader sense that past experiences, relationships or longstanding patterns continue to impact their wellbeing.
I offer both brief, focused counselling and longer-term therapeutic work, depending on your individual needs and goals. For some, this may involve developing practical strategies to manage a current challenge or life transition. For others, therapy may involve working more deeply with trauma, relationships, attachment, identity or patterns that have developed over time.
As a Registered Social Worker and Certified Hakomi Therapist, I integrate counselling with trauma-informed, relational, somatic and systemic approaches. My work recognises that our experiences are shaped not only by what has happened to us, but also by our relationships, families, culture, values and the wider systems we live within.
